This year, the Syezd’s main focus is to realign our lives back to the never changing way of life of Orthodoxy. By going back to our roots in Orthodoxy as well as our roots as Russian Orthodox, we remember why our ancestors fought hard to maintain and save the Russian Orthodox faith and traditions in Australia. By going back to the beginning of Orthodoxy, we remember the symbolism of what we do as Orthodox Christians and why we do it. Things that we take for granted and not understand the meaning behind them.
