Syezd 2025 invites Orthodox youth from across Australia to gather in the stunning Adelaide Hills for a week of spiritual growth, connection, and community. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the rolling vineyards and the Onkaparinga river, this year’s conference is rooted in the words of Christ: “I am the vine, you are the branches” (John 15:5).
This theme speaks directly to our need for connection with Christ as the true source of life, strength, and purpose. Just as branches cannot thrive without the vine, our spiritual lives flourish only when we remain united with Him. In a world that often pulls us in many directions, Syezd 2025 offers a space to reconnect—with God, with the Church, and with each other.
The Adelaide Hills, known for their vineyards and peaceful landscapes, provide a symbolic and fitting backdrop for this theme. Here, participants will be invited to reflect on what it means to abide in Christ—drawing nourishment from His Word, bearing fruit in our lives, and remaining rooted in faith, even through life’s challenges.
Through liturgical services, engaging talks, workshops, and fellowship, Syezd 2025 will equip young Orthodox Christians to grow stronger in their faith and to live out their calling as branches of the True Vine.
